Your private guide and vehicle will collect you from the agreed meeting point before heading towards the Serra de Tramuntana and the mountain village of Valldemossa.
Located a short drive from Palma, Valldemossa offers a complete contrast to Mallorca's capital. Surrounded by the Tramuntana mountains, the village is known for its traditional stone houses, narrow streets and fascinating cultural history. Your guide will take you on a walk through Valldemossa, introducing you to the historic centre and landmarks such as the Royal Charterhouse of Valldemossa (La Cartuja) and King Sancho's Palace.
You will also discover some of the quieter streets and corners of the old village while learning about Valldemossa's history and the people who have helped make it famous.
There will be some free time to explore independently, take photographs, browse the local shops or stop at one of the cafés to try the traditional coca de patata. After Valldemossa, we return to Palma de Mallorca for the second part of your private tour.
Palma City and Valldemossa Shore Excursion Customer Reviews
We booked this excursion before we arrived in Palma mallorca as our cruise ship was there for the day , Palma was amazing and our guide Michael was so good giving us lots of information about the local area, we then went to valldamosa, if you are visiting mallorca this excursion is a must , if we return we would do it again thank you .
Amazing tour and amazing guide Micheal ! Highly recommended !! Our guide was fantastic and really made sure we enjoyed our tour .
Excellent tour! It was very organized and informative. Our tour guide was very flexible and patient. Transportation was very comfortable.
On time lined-up directly in front of our Cruise Ship. Relaxing Tour with Driver and separate excellent Guide. He has profound knowledge of the Culture and as well the wildlife.
This was a wonderful day with Natalia, she showed us some of the highlights of the island and made a custom plan to accommodate two handicapped members of our group. She is incredibly knowledgeable about Mallorca its history the legends and what modern life is like there she also has a great sense of humor and as she will proudly proclaim herself, she takes great pictures. Highly recommended and ask for Natalia you will be so glad you did
This place was one of our favorites during our two weeks in Europe. We went in not really knowing what to expect, and we were pleasantly surprised. Our guide, Natalia, spoke very good English being from Russia. You could tell that she loves what she does and where she lives, and she quickly turned our family of four into a family of five. It felt like we were getting a tour from an old friend. I highly recommend this tour, as there is much to see within a short driving distance. Also, Valldemossa was stunningly beautiful and we had plenty of time to enjoy it along with Palma.
Michael, our outstanding guide for this private excursion for six of us from our cruise ship, visiting Valldemossa and Palma de Mallorca, was one of the most informative and knowledgeable guides we've ever had. This is a beautiful island, and Mike seemed to know every square inch of it, from the best views to the best cafes to the most quaint and magical squares. We traveled in a comfortable mini-van with greater comfort than large tour buses can afford and had a wonderful, personal and more custom experience than one can get on most ship excursions.
We enjoyed our tour very much, but most of all we appreciated our tour guide, Pete. He was exceptionally knowledgeable and personable. Most importantly he was right by our ship when we disembarked. There was no stress looking for our tour guide. The excursion was very enjoyable, but we all really enjoyed the Valldemossa part. It is such a special place where only 2000 people live. We were able to relax in a local cafe and appreciate the slower pace of life. Our friends who we have traveled with many times decided that Valldemossa would be a wonderful place to revisit.
Great tour of Valldemossa which we thought was a special place! Encourage your guide to spend extra time there. While our guide gave us free time, we didn't realize we could have used more and wish we had for a leisurely stop at a cafe. Palma de Mallorca is a big city and was okay but we had seen a lot of big cities on our trip. Rating is because of the Valldemossa experience.
Our tour guide made this excursion come to life! We were a small family group of 7 and she kept us all engaged with the sites and history of Validemossa and Palma de Mallorca. I don't know how to describe good this tour became.
